Valentine's day! Everyone from our carpool came in and shared the kids candy and funny notes from friends.
John took the kids and some of their friends to a BYU basketball game.
We had to forgive the kids for cheering for BYU and getting caught up in the whole Jimmer excitement!

Beauty & the Beast Musical!!!
Jess stepped out of her comfort zone yet again this year and tried out for the school musical. She played a villager and a spoon! She was in all of the fun ensemble songs including "Be Our Guest". She was great!
Her best friend Allison was also a villager, they had a blast!

Although a villagers clothing is usually nothing to brag about...please notice the detail of these bodices...they took 4 moms about 9 hours to figure out!
Jessi with her another friend who played the feather-duster and did a fantastic job!
Jessi's friend who played Cogsworth stole the show! He was great. I have to say Jessi made an incredible spoon too!
My favorite part was getting to be backstage 2 of the nights to help out. It was incredible to see those kids moving all of the HUGE set pieces after each scene. I still wonder how it all fit of back there. At one point the Beast had to exit stage right and go outside, run around to the stage left entrance and be back on stage within 30 seconds...Jessi made sure his prop was "Lit" and waiting for him to enter with.
JaNae and the girls all came to see Jessi closing night! They had to sit all alone because I was backstage and John was working late :( But they said they loved it anyway! Jessi is lucky to have so much support!
